York Civil Litigation Attorney
I was born at Florida's Tyndall Air Force Base in 1961 and eventually followed in my father's footsteps by joining the United States Air Force in 1980. In my six years on active duty with the Air Force, I served as a Russian linguist during the Cold War, monitoring and reporting on Soviet military communications and achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant (SSG) before leaving active duty. I then served in the Air Force Reserves from 1986 to 1990, achieving the rank of Master Sargent (MSG). I worked my way through college and law school while serving in the Air Force and Reserve, attending evening classes to earn my associate's degree from USAF Air University: Community College of the Air Force in 1984 and my bachelor's degree from Pennsylvania State University in 1987.
In 1990, I graduated from Penn State University Dickinson School of Law with my law degree and was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar. During law school I served as a law clerk in a litigation firm. This is where I discovered my affinity for trial law. From 1990 to 2001 I was a member of the Judge Advocate General's Corps of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard where I attained the rank of Major before retiring. My civil litigation law firm focuses on cases involving personal injury, insurance litigation and real estate litigation.
In addition to my litigation practice, I served as an arbitrator in the Dauphin County court system and currently serve as one in York County. I was selected for this highly selective role based on my extensive courtroom experience.
